Job Title: Business Development Manager – Investment Recovery & Surplus Assets (Energy and Industrial Sectors)

Job Summary:
Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead investment recovery and surplus asset strategies within the energy and industrial sectors. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through the monetization of surplus assets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of asset recovery, resale, and sustainable asset disposition practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global business development strategies for investment recovery and surplus asset management within the energy and industrial sectors.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including energy companies, industrial manufacturers, and asset liquidation firms.
- Evaluate and assess surplus asset portfolios to maximize value recovery through resale, repurposing, or sustainable disposal solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement asset recovery programs that align with corporate sustainability goals.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities in asset disposition.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with customers to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Develop forecasting models and business cases to support investment recovery initiatives and revenue optimization.
- Lead outreach efforts, including attending industry events, networking, and leveraging digital marketing tools to drive engagement.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on business development activities and revenue performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, investment recovery, surplus asset management, or related fields within the energy and industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of asset disposition strategies, secondary markets, and investment recovery best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business development plans.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, data analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote work environment with global reach.
- Willingness to travel internationally or regionally as required.
