Military Surplus Components Available for Sale over $140 Million in GAC

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Associated Aircraft Manufacturing & Sales, Inc. (AAMSI) is pleased to announce an auction of items in our inventory to take place at 1201 NW 6th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33069, on Thursday, May 5th at 10:30 am (ET). All items will be available for inspection on May 3, 2016 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tiger Remarketing Services has been retained to conduct the auction. The auction is necessary to free up space to allow AAMSI to expand its manufacturing and avionics repair facilities.

Inventory includes the following platforms; P-3, AV-8 Harrier, F-15, F-16, F18, CH-47, HU-16, S-2, and C130, and manufacturers; Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, Honeywell, Northrop Grumman, Rockwell Collins, and Parker-Hannifin.

The auction will cover almost 1,000 Tri-Walls with a $140 million Government Acquisition Cost (GAC) value. Bids will be taken for the entire lot as well as 27 sub lots. 95% of the inventory is condition code New Surplus. The inventory includes over 30,000 stock line items, totaling over 3 million parts, including Landing Gear, Actuators, Receiver/Transmitters, Gyroscopes, Pulse Decoders, Panel Assemblies, Nav/Com Equipment, Test Equipment, Engine Blades, Impellers, Deicing Equipment, Air Data Computers, Power Supplies and many other items.
