Assets of Pacific Aerospace Resources & Technologies LLC Offered in Sealed Bid Turnkey Sale

Calif. MRO facility being sold by Tiger Group and Cloud Investment Partners

VICTORVILLE, Calif., Aug. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — By order of the assignee for the benefit of creditors, Tiger Group, in cooperation with Cloud Investment Partners, is conducting a sealed bid offering for the turnkey sale of the assets of Pacific Aerospace Resources & Technologies LLC (PART).  The offering of the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility includes favorable leases for three hangars and office space, extensive tooling, a vast parts inventory, equipment, rolling stock, and a composite shop. Bids are due Sept. 7.

PART, an ARC Aerospace Industries company and Boeing fleet services partner with multiple certifications, provides a full range of aircraft MRO services. The facility is located at Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA), situated directly between Los Angeles and Las Vegas with a favorable 10% AS9110-B annual humidity. SCLA features a 24/7 instrument landing system tower; a U.S. Customs-Port of Entry; 145 acres of concrete apron; a 15,000-foot by 150-foot main runway, and a 10,000-foot by 150-foot second runway.

The company’s facility at SCLA includes two wide and one narrow body hangars, the largest and newest of which was built in 2007 and features 90,000 square feet of space with an additional 30,000 square feet of administrative and customer offices. As designed, the large hangar can house multiple configurations of both wide and narrow body aircraft. The facility includes extensive tooling for 737NG and other aircraft.

PART, which is AS9110-B Certified, holds certifications from the FAA (Part 145), the European Aviation Safety Agency, the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association, the Brazilian Civil Aviation Authority, the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority, and other aviation authorities.

Parts and equipment in the turnkey package include more than 9,000 line items, with a total quantity of approximately 600,000 new consumable parts. There are also 13,000 line items of rotable parts, including landing gear, valves, computers and more.  These spare parts are used on 767, 757, 737 and other Boeing, Airbus and CRJ aircraft. In addition to a recently built, fully-equipped composite shop, the offering includes a host of ground support equipment (GSE), including trucks, tugs, GPUs, tow bars, stands, jacks, motors, hydraulic pumps, carts, and much more.
