Seven Corners Hardware Offers Huge Discounts In Historic GOB Sale

— Closing its doors after 80 years in St. Paul, the family-owned business will begin liquidating its nationally renowned inventory of brand-name tools and equipment on Feb. 13.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (2/12/14)—Contractors and DIY enthusiasts from across the Twin Cities and the Midwest will find rare discounts on millions of dollars’ worth of top-tier tools, equipment and hardware, as well as plumbing, electrical and paint supplies as part of the going-out-of-business sale for historic Seven Corners Hardware, according to Tiger Capital Group, LLC, which is directing the liquidation of the retailer’s inventory and other assets. The sale at Seven Corners’ one and only location at 216 West 7th St. in downtown St. Paul begins Feb. 13.

For contractors and DIY enthusiasts, in particular, this sale event represents an extraordinary opportunity,” said Arnold L. Jacobs, Tiger Group’s Director of Field Operations. “We’re talking about the crème de la crème of brands in power and battery-operated tools, highly specialized equipment, hardware, plumbing, electrical, paint supplies, masonry tools, fasteners, cabinet hardware, and more. These are products that are rarely, if ever, found on sale, much less offered at discounts of up to 30 percent.

Seven Corners, which has served hobbyists, homeowners, contractors and other DIY-minded customers in the Twin Cities and beyond since 1933, announced last month that it will be closing its doors as a result of the sale of its property to a real estate developer.
